Students Do Not Travel to Perugia, Umbria and the Surrounding Areas

Students Do Not Travel to Perugia, Umbria and the Surrounding Areas

My husband specializes in Travel Advisories. He recently wrote a report on the front page of his website because he felt obligated.

I, too, am very concerned. Not too long from now, Rudy Guede, who was imprisoned for murdering Meredith Kercher could be free. Meredith Kercher was the British student who was studying abroad in Perugia, Italy in 2007 who was brutally sexually assaulted and murdered by Rudy.

He could possibly be out as soon as May of 2014! I can’t confirm this, but I’ve heard that the parent’s of the victim will allow him to visit their daughter’s grave. Ouch. I’m saddened that they don’t realize exactly who this guy is and what he viciously did to their daughter.
Sadly, the people who hold tight to the guilt of Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito, no matter how innocent they’re proven over and over again, don’t seem even to be bothered by this little fact.

A Rudy, the murderer, is a known liar, burglar, petty drug dealer and someone not able to be responsible no matter how many opportunites he’s been given…has become  “poor Rudy”.

At this point, frankly I don’t think anyone should even go there. At the very least, students should reconsider.

I am hoping that Florence makes this wrong right. Time shall tell.  I am hoping for the best.
